Five zodiac signs are expected to see favorable horoscopes on October 16, 2026, when Pluto retrograde comes to an end. According to YourTango, the intense inner work those signs did during the retrograde begins to produce lasting results on Friday. Pluto has been retrograde since May 6, and the retrograde is over for the rest of the year. Because Pluto is in Aquarius, the themes involved center on friendships, both the good ones and the less-than-amazing ones.
YourTango reports that one unreliable coworker, described as all over the place, turned out to be the person who taught discipline over the last five months. During that period there was no choice but to stay a few steps ahead. The result is that the sign involved has become organized and focused enough to impress even itself. On October 16, the worrying and overthinking prove this person to be someone others can rely on, and the results speak for themselves.
For Cancer, the source states that carrying a heavy secret revealed what a true friend Cancer is. Cancer holds people's feelings close and was the rock a friend needed. Now that things are improving, and the friend is improving too, Cancer is happy, having honestly not known if either of them would make it. On October 16, that situation ends and the friend is ready to speak up. Cancer is held as an honored, cherished friend, and now truly knows what it means to hold that position.
With Pluto direct, another sign is ready to show the world that it has changed how it loves. YourTango says this sign is choosing healthy over disrespect. The sign remains kind and sweet but is not a doormat, and will forever be there for the people it cares about. October 16 is described as one of those days when everything seems to flow easily.
Another sign finally figured out the right routine for its needs. It had been playing around with different angles, and nothing quite stuck. On Friday, the missing piece is found, and the sign is listening to its intuition. The source notes this sign is usually right even when people do not agree, and is learning to trust the process if something feels right in the moment even when it does not make sense.
The day is also described as big for the sign that Pluto is stationing direct in, which means the green light is on to move forward on a project. This sign is into self-improvement and had been hoping to get one particular project moving, but for many reasons nothing worked out. Each failure gave a reason to dig deeper and study personal flaws.
