For Scorpio, Rose said the double retrograde is likely to make the sign an emotional mess if care is not taken. She said past relationships, unresolved heartbreak, and old toxic relationship dynamics are being pulled back into the present. Former partners may make contact, or Scorpio may find itself thinking about past times, and Rose said the experience goes beyond nostalgia, forcing a reliving of the past and bringing unresolved trauma back.
Rose advised Scorpio to keep its guard up. She noted that being tested in this way is not a pleasant experience, but that it also shows how far the sign has come. Letting go of the past is difficult, she said, but there was a reason Scorpio said goodbye.
Because the double retrograde falls in Scorpio, the opposite sign to Taurus, Rose said Taurus will also feel the heat. Mercury rules Gemini, so any retrograde affects that sign especially hard. Rose said an overlapping Venus and Mercury retrograde in Scorpio is an absolute nightmare for Gemini's peace of mind, which is why the sign may already feel close to losing its cool. She said the double retrograde tests Gemini with mixed signals and that misunderstandings will become common.
Rose said Gemini may find itself stuck in its own head, obsessively overanalyzing a partner's text and tone, which can lead to bickering over nothing. She suggested finding ways to ground yourself. The period may be a nightmare, she said, but controlling the emotions will make this retrograde season easier to get through.
